DESCENDANTS OF JOHN HUTCHINGS

My father, Richard Elmer Hutchins, was the eleventh child of twelve children in his family. He was close to his teen years before he knew he had any siblings. You see, his mother died when he was three and his father was a Merchant Marine, gone on long trips oversees. All the children were placed in foster homes. It was the older ones who began seeking out their younger siblings. When I began genealogy research on this ‘branch’ of the family, some 35 years ago, I wasn’t even sure of my grandparent’s names!
